The 100% owned Elon Property is comprised of 6 claims covering an area of 245 ha (2.45 km2)
Location: The Elon Property is approximately 40 km north of the mining town of Val-D'Or in the Abitibi-Temiscamingue region of Quebec and has excellent access through paved Highway #397, and a network of secondary roads. The Property is less than one kilometre of North America Lithium's producing mine.
The Elon Property has three favorable geological features for rare metal pegmatites, such the presence of concordant stacked sills; the presence of a compressed, near vertical, syntectonic mobile zone that is the host of pegmatite intrusion; and dominantly mafic volcanics lithologies as host rocks, often with intercalated metasediments and gabbroic rocks (Pearse & al., 2016).
29 till and 44 rock samples were collected in July 2021. Additional sampling was also carried out in November 2021. Assay results showed some anomalous lithium values. Four diamond drill holes totaling 600 metres were completed in October 2022 and 118 samples samples were sent for assays. Drill results returned no lithium values of interest. In May 2024, 6 auger holes were drilled for a total of 96 metres and 11 samples were collected.
As per May 1, 2024 news release, the company completed its fifth exploration program on the Elon Property by carrying out auger drilling in order to sample the overburden near the bedrock.
