The Bissent Lake Property comprises 35 claims covering 2,056 hectares (20.6 km2).
Location: The Bissent Lake Property is located 50 km northeast of the town of Mont-Laurier in the Upper Laurentians region and can be accessed through Highways 117 and 311, and a network of well maintained secondary and lumber roads.
The Property consists of an assemblage of monzonite, monzodiorite and tonalite, calcsilicate rocks and paragneisses that are crosscut by numerous late stage light-coloured pegmatites. Some pegmatites are oriented Northeast and can be followed over a distance of at least 5 km. Despite good access, geological mapping remains piecemeal and patchy as several additional pegmatite bodies are likely to be discovered through detailed prospecting. The Property is almost adjacent to the La Lièvre Regional Shear Zone, being less than 1 km west of the Property. This shear zone extends for at least 50 km. Several northeast structures and faults are also present nearby.
The Property includes the Trou-do showing that was sampled and assayed where a grab sample returned 0.11% U3O8. The mineralization is within a pegmatite dyke hosted in a biotite paragneiss.
Work has not yet been performed on the property.
